On May 16, 2008, we hosted our 19th Annual Benefit and Auction, A Taste of the Town. It was an unqualified success! Thanks to all who attended and the parents, friends, Board and staff members who added their talents in the planning stages. We want to recognize the American Legion, which donated the use of their facilities, Ian Kelley of WTSA, who donated his time as emcee, and Justine Lyford, who did a fabulous job of coordinating the event. Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, Chittenden Bank, our sponsor, Entergy Vermont Yankee, and our supporters Brattleboro Savings & Loan, JDL Associates Engineering, The Richards Group, and The Trust Company of Vermont.

The beautiful floral arrangements were courtesy of Carley's Florists, Linden Gardens, Rashed's Garden Center, Taylor for Flowers, Walker Farm and Windham Flowers.

The delicious food was prepared by Adagio's Trattoria, Alici's Bistro, Amy's Bakery Arts Cafe, Brattleboro Food Co-op, Cafe Lotus, Chesterfield Inn, Coffee Country, Joy Wah Restaurant, Marina Restaurant, Mocha Joe's Roasting Company, The New England House, Peter Haven's Restaurant, The Purple Chef, Shin La Restaurant, Tasteful Affairs, Thai Garden, Ninety-Nine Restaurant and Pub, The Putney Inn, The Riverview Cafe, The Steak Out, Thirty 9 Main, TJ Buckley's, Tom and Sally's Handmade Chocolates, Top of the Hill Grill and Vermont Country Deli.
